Axayya Alloys is established as a private limited company in 1981 having its factory and registered office at 78/2, 'S' Block, MIDC Bhosari, Pune. Mr. N.N. Kher, a very senior personality in the filed is the managing director and chairman and Mr. Nirangan Kher, a second generation executive as the director (Operations). Axayya alloys is registered with the director of industries as small scale unit and also with NSIC and is an ISO 9002 company for manufacturer of non ferrous alloys and master alloys.
Product
Axayya Alloys make primarily aluminium and zinc base alloys. It had technical tie-up with BARC for development and manufacture of special alloys for defence. It imports substituted and supplied large quantities of these alloys to defence and saved a foreign exchange worth few crores when country was facing a serious crunck. Company also manufacturers wide range of aluminium master alloys. Company is manufacturing around 120 MT of aluminium and zinc alloys per month.
Production Facility
Company have four oil fired furnaces. Company has a well set chemical laboratory. Besides conventional weight analysis method, company has computerised atomic absorption spectrophotometer, which determines impurities in ppm levels and also alloying elements with precise accuracy. Instrument is manned by qualified chemist. It is calibrated at a definite intervals.

Company acquired ISO 9002 certificate for the non ferrous alloys including master alloys. Ours is the only company in the country to have a certification as the exclusive manufacturer of wide range of alloys. We had a surveillance audit in November 1999 and also in December 2000 and Sept 2001.
