We are pleased to introduce our company BAT CRAFT
INT'L PVT. LTD, in early 2001 a few cricketing friends got together and decided to start a modern cricket bat factory for the
first time in south India breaking the monopoly of North India.
In June of 2001, our factory for making Cricket Bats was inaugurate. it
is the first modern factory of its kind in India at full production, It
was a capacity of making 500 cricket bats per day.
Our factory is situated at foothills of the Majestic Western range in
Coimbatore, Tamilnadu, India. the location was selected because of
moderate climate than that of traditional bat making location of Punjab
and Sialkot areas. In the Sub Continent, this advantage allows the
willow to be maintained at a consistent moisture level. Additional
methds of controlling the moisture level are also taken by sorting the
clefts in a dehumidified room. We also have a seasoning plant to reduce
the moisture content in the clefts to the required moisture level.
Our Willow is sourced from the best suppliers in England and Kashmir
allowing us to maintain a consistent grading system.
Our handles are made of top quality imported Sarawak canes.
With the use of latest machineries and highly trained and experienced
craftsmen, we are able to produce Cricket Bats which are perfectly
balanced and consistent in its required shapes and weights.
Managerial Competence: The project is managed by experts in
different aspects such as production, Research and development,
administration, marketing, finance etc.
Our Cricket bats are now big in supply to the top labels in India and
Internationally, with excellent response from both the players and
buyers for its quality and performance.
We the directors have an aim of serving and making bats for the leading
companies abroad from our most modern factory which has full
infrastructure to make top quality bats under one roof.
The production is looked after by our director - Mr. Vinod Mathews who
has the background of furniture making, hence knows machines and wood
thoroughly. He was trained by an Australian bat craftsman.
