I passed my solicitors examination in Bombay in 1986 at the first attempt securing the prize in the General Acts paper, which is open-book examination.

Thereafter, i practised as an advocate and solicitor during 1986 and 1987. In 1988 i joined M/S. Mulla and Mulla Craigie Blunt and Caroe, a leading firm of solicitors in Bombay. I handled corporate law matters, shipping law matters and property transactions.

I had come to England in 1990, and upon returning I joined a senior advocate in Bombay and I started practise as an advocate and solicitor. In my practise i was required to handle all civil work dealing with propery transactions, corporate litigation, arbitration law, Indian Constitutional law, labour law etc. I met clients, took instructions, advised independently, drafted documents, and in case of contentious matters drafted pleadings, looked up the relevant law, and authoroties and either appeared or assisted the senior in court 80% of the matters were in Bombay High Court. I am presently working with M/S. Little and Co., solicitors, a large solicitors firm in Bombay doing substantial work for banks and governement organisations.

I am doing a joint venture project for a statutory organisation and I do Banking Law, Corporate Law, Shipping Law etc.
