Our achievements of note are as follows.
The first indigenous test rig for aircraft wheels and part of the L C A (Light Combat Aircraft) programme for Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Lucknow.
The Rig has been in operation since 1992 and we have been associated with upgradation covering static brake testing. Safety and Data acquisition till date. Type testing on all wheel assembles are now carried out on this equipment.
Test Bed Facility with environment control for the transmission system of our main battle tank, Arjun, on behalf of CVRDE ( Combat vehicle research and development establishment) Avadi, Chennai.
The Assignment covered a multi-disciplinary role with stringent performance norms. The facility has been in operation since 1994.
Dyanamometer for simulation of brake torque on carbon rotor and stator of the L C A, installed at DRDL (Defence Research and development laboratory) Hyderabad. This Equipment Utilises A 125 DC Motor and Step up gear box to develop up to 7.64 mega jougles of energy at a max speed of 3100 rpm. Full test data recording availableon a data acquisition system. In operation since 1999, this equipment is used for type testing and product development extensively.
