M/S. NIRMAL PLASTIC INDUSTRIES was initiated by late Mr. Jaikumar Patni in the year of 1973 at 116, A to Z Industrial Estate, G.K. Marg, Lower Parel, Mumbai 400 013. When the company started, it dealt with products for refrigerators, LPG, Pressure cookers and oil companies etc. But in 1980 onwards this company started majoring into Oil companies like Indian Oil Corporation Limited, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, and other LPG companies. It deals with products like safety caps, LPG pilfer-proof seals, and sealing systems for LPG cylinders. As per chief controllers of Explosives, Nagpur it is mandatory for all LPG bottling plants, Government owned or private sector to compulsorily fix safety caps on filled LPG cylinder valves before it is removed from the plant for public distributions. The safety cap ensures 100% leak proofness even in case if there is a leakage in the valve. This being a very critical item manufactured from Poly-Acetal/Acetal Resin plastic raw material. The dimensions have to be maintained meticulously to meet the specification and to serve its logical purpose.Mr.Mahendra J. Patni son of late Mr. Jaikumar Patni being B.E.(Electronics) graduate, joined in M/s. Nirmal Plastic Industries in the year of 1988 and both father and son firmly established themselves in the field of LPG oil company sector as the leading supplier of safety and sealing equipments.
With the Government of India opening up the LPG sector to private and public entrepreneurs the demand for LPG safety caps and seals rose dramatically. As a result a new company was established in the style of M/s. Nirmal Plastics, proprietor Ms. Poornima M. Patni, wife of Mahendra J. Patji, primarily to cater to the requirements of the private and public sectors undertakings.
