Dr. Raghu Hiremagalur graduated with MBBS from J.N. Medical College, Belgaum. He also did his post graduation in orthopaedics from the same institution. After working with Dr. K. Srinivasan for a few months he travelled to the United Kingdom to persue higher studies.
After finishing his basic surgical training Dr. Raghu successfully completed FRCS from Edinburgh Royal College.
Dr.Raghu then worked in various centres gaining vast expriences in all aspects of orthopaedic surgery. He has excellent technique doing the following operations. Toatal hip replacement, total knee replacement, arthroscopic procedures, as well as operations on all types of fractures.
He has attended lot of conferences and hands on workshops. Following are just some of them. Hip symposium, knee workshop, external fixator work shop, trauma symposium, IM nailing workshop, advanced trauma life support and shoulder surgery workshop.
Dr Raghu now has a busy consultation practice at his clinic "Orthocare" in Malleshwaram. He does all his major surgeries at Srhi Bhagwan Mahavir Jain Hospital in Vasant Nagar. He is also a visiting consultant in Mallige Medical Centre. He has successfully treated many national and international sports personalities.
