This Organization named Sahas Caterers was floated in the year 1989 i.e. 13 years ago. The reason for this was that two 'Proficient Professionals' who were good friends of each other developed some good ideas in mind and started from the threshold in the culinary field to carve a niche in this fraternity. These two were Mr. Prakash Dalvi & Mr. Srirang Sawant.
Mr.Srirang Sawant: This person was a just a common employee working for Mahindra & Mahindra, Worli, Mumbai, India. There he came in contact with a good friend circle of which some were having their own part-time business of running canteens, hotels etc. This gentleman, Mr. Sawant, developed liking for this field and started looking out for right opportunity. He had a word with his close friend Mr. Prakash Dalvi who was an independent businessmen in related areas. Mr. Dalvi agred to join the brigade and Sahas Caterers was practically operative.
Mr. Prakash Dalvi: This person was from this field itself. He was running an Industrial Canteen at one branch of Union Bank of India at Mumbai from 1989-1991 and a Permit Room in Mumbai from 1991-1995.
After this, we two started Sahas Caterers in 1989 and started getting good orders of catering to Wedding's, Private Parties, Picnic Parties, Children's Parties etc. Then even for 3 years from 1996-1999 at the same venue of their current office, they started a Hotel named Atharva.
Our prominent esteemed clients :
M/s. Emerck India - catered to 2,500 people at 2 'Family Meets' and also organized one 'Picnic Party' for them.
M/s. Tata Finance - conducted official get together for them catering to around 800 people.
M/s.Chaurang - Mr. Ashok Hande ( 'Aawaz Ki Duniya' & 'Mangal Gani Dangal Gani' Orchestra's fame) catered to his brother's marriage party of around 5000 people including prominent VIP's from the society.
Catered to former Chief Minister Mr. Narayan Rane's function of 200 people.
