In 1995 Mr. V. Chidambaram BE (Mech) and Mr. A.L. Lakshmann CA., MS(Accounting) USA, started a stock broking firm by name Nelliyan Stocks and in the year 1977 diversified into trading business by taking the distributorship of construction markets a division of BIRLA 3M Limited under a new partnership firm Shri Balaji Agencies
We started off with a staff of five members and we have now a total staff of fifty.
Based on our performance BIRLA 3 M have offered us other divisions for marketing in Tamil Nadu.
Currently we represent the following six divisions of 3M:

Automotive Aftermarkets Division
Personal Safety and Traffic Safety Division
Commercial Graphics Division
Visual systems Division
Occupational Health and Environmental Safety
Our primary sales for the last three years:
April 2000- March 2001 - 1.16 crores
April 2001- March 2002 - 1.81 crores
April 2002- September 2002 - 1.73 crores

We have received several awards from 3M for our excellence in sales and we have been adjudged as one of the top 10 distributors of 3M.
Office and Branch
We have started our branch at Coimbatore in the year 2000 to cater to our down south clientele.
We have an office space of 3000 sq.ft and a godown space of 1500 sq.ft at Chennai and we are equipped with computers for smooth and fast working.
We are confident to grow rapidly in the years to come.
