After architecture, worked as junior architect with other senior architects.
In 1986, joined town planning and valuation department, Maharashtra State as Assistant town planner.
In 1990, deputed to Lonavala Municipal Council and then migrated and settled in Lonavala.
In 1996, quit the government service and joined Sahara Housing Ltd as an architect.
In 1997, resigned from the service and started professional practice as a partner with M/S. Unique Planners, Lonavala.
In March 1999, after dissolving the partnership, established the firm "Shravanti Associates" and since then practicing as an architect, interior designer and reg. valuer in and around Lonavala.
