Subrahmanyan construction Co P Ltd., was established in the year 1947 by Late Shri S. Subramanyan, who was a graduate Civil Engineer from one of the oldest Engineering Colleges in the Country, College of Engineering, Guindy, Chennai.
It is managed by Mr. S. Ramamurthy, Mr.S. Srinivasan and Mr. R. Sankar, who are qualified Civil Engineers. The senior directors have been involved in the field of construction for over three decades. Mr. R. Sankar holds a master degree in civil/structural engineering from USA.

The company specialises in Industrial construction, wtih over 98% of the turnover being accounted from Project Implementation. The company has completed projects worth Rs. 1600 lakhs in 2000-01 and projects worth Rs. 1800 lakhs in 2001-02 and our estimated turnover during 2002-03 is around 2500 lakhs. In addition, the company operates a factory at Godhra in the State of Gujarat for manufacturing and supplying prestressed concrete railway sleepers to the Indian Railway Board. This division has a turnover of Rs. 700 lakhs. The company has a certified ISO company from 1999.
